NEB Venetian Local Chapter
May 25, 2023 – New European Bauhaus x Venetian Local Chapter
SUMus is delighted to join the Venetian and European community of changemakers of the New European Bauhaus (NEB) . The three keywords “ beauty, together, sustainability ” that define the NEB have always been part of the core values of our SUMus do & think tank. Given the scale of the reconstruction task, effective cooperation with all willing stakeholders is essential. SUMus was very pleased to welcome the NEB team and key changemakers from Venice on May 25, 2023, to the Forge of the Future to announce the creation of the Venetian Chapter.
La Forge du Futur had the pleasure and honor of hosting the New European Bauhaus and key changemakers in Venice on May 25, 2023.
This meeting preceded the first NEB conference, held at Uav, which allowed the NEB to present its activities and announce its support for the creation of a Venetian NEB chapter . The NEB's official partners were also present and affirmed their commitment to cooperation in order to strengthen synergies between each team, each association, and each project, making Venice a laboratory for a better future— a more sustainable, serene, inclusive, and joyful future . The NEB team indicated its intention to be present at every architecture biennale and to support all local initiatives that exemplify its guiding principles: beauty, togetherness, and sustainability. SUMus thanks the team at the San Marino Pavilion for co-organizing this meeting between the NEB, the NEB's official Venetian partners, and Venetian project leaders.
