Our ambition

Emergence of a new humanist consciousness

For an environmentally sustainable, socially equitable and economically viable society, SUMus embraces Gandhi's motto: " Be the change you wish to see in the world ".
SUMus means " we are " in Latin and wishes to replace individualism with the collective and Having with Being.
" Become who you are ," said Picasso. By becoming aware of their uniqueness and potential, each individual will freely express their talents to achieve personal fulfillment and contribute to the world.
Each individual will also become aware that all human beings are connected to each other and to the world around them, the fauna, the flora, the planet, the cosmos…
SUMus will thus promote the emergence of a human consciousness enlightened by knowledge for a respectful and sustainable future.
The culture of "AND" is replacing that of "OR"
SUMus is apolitical, ecumenical, resolutely positive and inclusive.
For too long, one had to be right-wing or left-wing, believer or atheist, spiritualist or materialist, conservative or avant-garde…
Now the time has come to replace "OR" with "AND".
SUMus embodies the masculine AND the feminine, spirituality AND materiality, tradition AND modernity, the visible AND the invisible, the short term AND the long term, the body AND the mind…
By combining the different polarities, SUMus intends to create a balance that alone can reveal the harmony of a new world.

New values at the heart of societal transformation
Our behaviors are driven by our values. Only a new foundation of shared values will allow the emergence of a more harmonious world.
