Venetians at the heart of their city's regeneration

From September 2020 to May 2021

In order to initiate a citizen dynamic and give a voice to a wide sample of Venetians to express their dreams and ambitions for the Venice of the future, around fifty video clips and a documentary film "Il faro del Mondo" were produced by SUMus from September 2020 to May 2021.
We went to meet Venetians, men, women, young, old, inhabitants of the historic center, the surrounding islands, as well as the mainland in order to take into account a representative sample of the Venetian population.

SUMus offers Venetians the opportunity to become the artists of the future of their lives and the artists of the future of their city!

We will involve them in working groups and collectives so that they are at the forefront of the laboratory of the future. We will establish close links with the universities of Venice to involve younger generations , and we will also establish links with the numerous local and international associations and initiatives based in Venice in order to create and lead a citizen network integrating all stakeholders in the city .
