On May 30th, the iconic Greek island of Delos – a cosmopolitan center of the Mediterranean in Antiquity, now an open museum – comes back to life! Quite a symbol!

For the first time in its thousand-year history, Delos is hosting a classical music orchestra for a radio broadcast concert of international scope and great symbolic value. The European Union Youth Orchestra (EUYO), along with Ukrainian and Russian musicians, soloists, rising Ukrainian star Diana Tishchenko (violin), and Greek virtuoso Sokratis Sinopoulos (lyre), will perform the concert entitled "The [Uncertain] Four Seasons," a concert specially created to call for action for the future of humanity.

The concert was screened at Campo San Lorenzo in Venice and in various European cities, including Geneva, Monaco, Mykonos, Paros, and the Megaron Athens Concert Hall. The concert will also be broadcast live on ARTE and on various media platforms of cultural and technological institutions.

It was also broadcast as part of ARTE's Sunday concert series on June 5 – 5:25 pm (CET) in Germany and 6:25 pm (CET) in France. The concert is now available on arte.tv.

May 30 marked the official launch of ALPHA MISSION – ΔELOS, a collective initiative that combines the forces of mythology, art and space technology to raise global awareness of the urgent need to regenerate our planet.

The screening of "[uncertain] Four Seasons" in Venice was organised by Sumus-La Fucina del Futuro, TBA21-Academy's Ocean Space, Europa Nostra, the Comitati Privati Internazionali per la Salvaguardia di Venezia and many other associations.

The World Human Forum has been a long-standing partner of Sumus since its inception, as we share the same values and vision of a better world for future generations. The global challenges we face are considerable. To address them, we must collaborate and join forces. This live-streamed concert is an ode to peace, an ode to sustainability, and a concrete example of active collaboration between numerous local and international stakeholders.
