In the presence of Fabio Moretti , President of the Venice Conservatory of Music, and Frédéric Morel , husband of the artist Val who passed away 7 years ago, we invited Venetians to discover the inner path that the artist proposes to move from chaos to wisdom .
The inauguration began with a chaotic musical piece, culminating in a harmonious melody, before Fabio Moretti spoke, expressing his pleasure at welcoming such a meaningful sculpture to the music conservatory, a place of harmony par excellence.
Frédéric Morel explained the meaning of each piece composing the sculpture and testified to how it had personally helped him on his own inner journey, inviting everyone who visits the music conservatory to use it as well to grow in awareness .
Hélène Molinari then expressed her great joy that Val's sculpture would remain in Venice after being exhibited at the Forge of the Future during the 2022 Biennale, finding a sublime and particularly fitting setting within the music conservatory. This work represents the materiality of SUMus's raison d'être and the ambitions we hold for Venice and the world. Indeed, this visionary sculpture is the key to a better world . As Einstein said, " You cannot solve a problem with the same thinking that created the problem ." Our behaviors are based on our values, which themselves are based on our internal beliefs, established in particular by our upbringing, current society, and the media.
Since all the global challenges we face, which call into question the survival of humanity in the medium term, are linked to our human behaviors, it is crucial that each of us asks ourselves existential questions and undertakes personal work to restore coherence to our choices, our behaviors, our lives.
The 7-part sculpture, accompanied by the accompanying questionnaire wisdom, serenity, and joy !
The inauguration ended with a cocktail reception in the salons of the Venice Conservatory of Music; we thank our partners Venezia da Vivere and Wine in Venice.
