Little Lights

The Little Lights Method
The Petites Lumières, or Little Lights workshops, founded by Chiara Pastorini, offer a dedicated space for young people, where art and philosophy meet in a playful and reflective journey. Through these workshops, participants explored fundamental philosophical concepts in a fun way, developing their artistic sensibility and strengthening their intellectual abilities.
This approach was part of the manifesto "We Care We Dare a Heartfelt, Peaceful and Regenerative Future" which advocates, among other things, for a regenerative future where children’s education becomes a fundamental pillar. By taking part in these workshops, young people were encouraged to reflect on their feelings and experiences, and to develop the creative and human qualities essential for facing the challenges of tomorrow
Past training
For those who wished to lead Circles of Little Lights, adult training took place on the weekends of:
January 11 and 12, 2025
; January 25 and 26, 2025; and
May 10 and 11, 2025.
It was provided by the creator Chiara Pastorini for Venetians wishing to deploy this Little Lights methodology in various schools or cultural centers.

Awareness Day in Venice with Chiara Pastorini
2025 – November 15
In collaboration with the Venice Foundation, Sumus organized an awareness and launch day for the "Arte e Filosofia per bambini" (Art and Philosophy for Children) project, which will take place in 12 schools in the municipality. During this day, the teachers who will be implementing the project in their classrooms had the pleasure of discovering the Little Lights method and meeting the facilitators trained in Venice by Chiara last year, who will lead the philosophical circles.
