The Venetians at the heart of the regeneration of their city

From September 2020 to May 2021

In order to initiate a civic dynamic and give voice to a large sample of Venetians to express their dreams and ambitions for the Venice of the future, around fifty video clips and a documentary film “Il faro del Mondo” were produced. by SUMus from September 2020 to May 2021.
We went to meet the Venetians, men, women, young people, the less young, the inhabitants of the historic center, the surrounding islands, as well as the mainland in order to take takes into account a representative sample of the Venetian population.

SUMus invites Venetians to become the artists of the future of their lives and the artists of the future of their city!

We will involve them in working groups and collectives so that they are at the forefront of the laboratory of the future. We will establish close links with the universities of Venice in order to involve the younger generations , we will also establish links with the numerous local or international associations and initiatives based in Venice in order to create and lead a citizen chain integrating all stakeholders of the city .
