Six of the nine planetary boundaries (climate change, biosphere integrity, chemical pollution, soil depletion, etc.) have already been crossed, while the remaining three are also under threat (ocean acidification, ozone layer depletion, aerosols). We are witnessing widening inequalities and a surge in diseases, all of which pose a medium-term threat to the survival of humanity.

The planet suffers because humanity suffers.

In the face of a systemic crisis, whether health, ecological, economic, or social, and ultimately a crisis of meaning, a systemic solution must be found.

A profound transformation of society is already underway. SUMus was created to accompany this gestation of the future. It is a humanist, independent association, open to all who believe that the time has come to change our perspective on life and to transform our relationship with the Living for a happier tomorrow. Its goal is to initiate, co-create, and promote a new regenerative, and therefore prosperous, paradigm that allows everyone to live in harmony with themselves, with others, and more broadly, with the planet, nature, and animals.

This new model, deeply respectful of life, gradually induces technological, agricultural, economic, financial, educational, media, artistic changes, etc. and gradually designs a new healthy society in which it is good to live and flourish.

Citizens, businesses and communities work for general well-being, in a caring and responsible ecosystem. The new generations are involved and their aspirations taken into account in order to bequeath to them a “ regenerated, revitalized and sustainable ” world which responds both to our quest for meaning and to the necessary sustainability of the planet.

Incredible natural predispositions to play a role model

Venice has a highly strategic asset: water, the source of life, and also the memory of the world.

Venice and its archipelago form a world "in themselves," intimately linked to its lagoon and marine environment. Environmental balance has always been a primary concern. Water, lagoon and marine fauna and flora are at the heart of bio-inspiration and constitute one of the main pillars of Life on which the renewal project is based.

Its architectural beauty, cultural treasures, traditions of artisanal excellence, unique universities, products of the lagoon, car-free lifestyle, and the immediate challenges it faces (rising waters due to climate change, depopulation, mass tourism, economic diversification, etc.) make Venice both a universal place and a highly symbolic city. Many think that by uniting our efforts, the international can save Venice, paradoxically SUMus thinks that by becoming the laboratory of the future in harmony with the Living, Venice creates planetary hope and contributes to curing humanity of its current excesses!

Economic activities are diversified and have a positive environmental and societal impact. The innovation is open source for all companies that wish to contribute to creating a sustainable future, it is mainly organic inspired by the fauna and flora of the lagoon and the sea, education is redesigned so that everyone can find their talents and freely express them.
